Our story began long before HCI Steel Buildings existed. In 1996, with T&E International, Inc., we stepped into the world of steel buildings with determination, faith, and a belief that honest work still mattered. For years, we sold and erected steel structures one project at a time - shaking hands, earning trust, and building relationships that meant more to us than the buildings themselves.

In 2012, that story grew into something bigger. T&E didn’t disappear - it transformed into HCI Steel Buildings LLC, carrying the same owners, the same values, and the same heart. We expanded from sales and erection into full manufacturing, allowing us to serve our customers even better. Through every season, we remained what we had always been: a small, family run “mom and pop” business doing our best to take care of people.

After thirty years, we’re stepping into retirement with deep gratitude and more emotion than we can put into words. While we remain open during our wind‑down period, we are no longer taking new quotes or custom design requests. Our priority is completing all current projects with the same care and integrity you’ve trusted for decades, and we will continue to honor all existing warranties in full.

To our customers, partners, and friends: thank you. Thank you for believing in us since 1996. Thank you for the conversations, the referrals, the repeat projects, the challenges, the laughter, and the trust. You allowed a small family business to grow, to serve, and to leave a legacy we are deeply proud of.

As we close this chapter, we do so with gratitude for the path we’ve walked, and God’s grace that carried us through it.
